The Bad Seed

STREAM connection: Give students a paper plate filled with different types of seeds. 
Option 1: Have them sort the seeds into groups and research what type they are.
Option 2: Depending on grade level, have students count, compare or make up math problems about the different groups.

STREAM connection: The bad seed says he wasn’t always a bad seed. How do you think he felt when he heard others call him a “bad seed”? How could the others have helped him instead? Draw a picture of what you would have done to help the bad seed.
